AiriHub is operated by AiriWheels, Inc. ("AiriHub," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the AiriHub mobile app and website (airihub.ai), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using AiriHub, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — such as your name, email address, and/or phone number when you create an AiriHub account.
- Profile details — an optional display name or profile photo.
- Communications — messages you send us, support requests, and feedback.
- Account & profile data — when you create an AiriHub account in the app (for example email, display name, and authentication identifiers).
Information created when you use AiriHub
- Check-in & visit activity — the restaurants you check in at, the time of check-in, and related verification (e.g., QR scan or location match).
- Rewards activity — points earned, coupons and rewards redeemed, and your rewards status at participating restaurants.
- Location information — with your permission, your device location to verify check-ins and show nearby member restaurants (see Section 4).
- Contacts — with your permission, information from your device contacts to show which friends are dining out (see Section 5).
Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data — such as device type, operating system, app version, general (approximate) location derived from IP address, and how you interact with the app or website.
- Cookies & similar technologies — on our website, for basic functionality and analytics. The AiriHub app does not rely on advertising cookies.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account and verify check-ins;
- Operate the rewards program — award points, issue coupons, and recognize you at participating restaurants;
- Show you nearby member restaurants and, with permission, which friends are dining out;
- Provide Airi's in-app recommendations, such as a restaurant's specials and popular dishes;
- Communicate with you about your account, rewards, and updates (you can opt out of promotional messages);
- Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse of rewards, and enforce our terms;
- Improve and develop our products; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
- Participating restaurants — when you check in at a member restaurant, that restaurant may see your check-in, rewards status, and visit history at their location so they can recognize you and honor your rewards. Restaurants do not receive your device contacts.
- Service providers — companies that help us run AiriHub (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, messaging, and form processing) under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of AiriHub, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your direction — when you choose to share (for example, inviting a friend).
4. Location
AiriHub uses your device location to verify that you are at a restaurant when you check in and to show member restaurants near you. Location access is requested with your permission through your device, and you can change or revoke it at any time in your device settings. If you decline location access, you can still use AiriHub, but some features (like location-verified check-in and the nearby map) may be limited.
5. Contacts & finding friends
The "see friends dining out" feature works only if you grant AiriHub access to your device contacts. We use this to identify which of your contacts also use AiriHub so we can show relevant activity. This access is optional — if you decline, the rest of AiriHub still works. You can revoke contacts access at any time in your device settings. We do not sell contact information, and participating restaurants do not receive your contacts.
6. Your choices & rights
- Permissions — you control location and contacts access in your device settings, and can change them anytime.
- Communications — you can opt out of promotional emails and notifications; we may still send you essential account messages.
- Access, correction, and deletion — you may request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, subject to legal exceptions.
- Regional rights — depending on where you live (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will verify your request as required by law.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide AiriHub, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
AiriHub is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Third-party services
AiriHub relies on certain third-party providers, such as cloud hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare), and mapping services to display restaurants. These providers process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. Links to third-party sites or services are governed by those parties' policies, not this one.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of AiriHub after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
